You Are the Artist
You are unique and inspired. You aren't happy unless you are making art of some sort.
Almost anything can be a catalyst for your creativity. You find the whole world stimulating.

You have beautiful visions, and you're good at expressing them. You like people to see what you see.
You also have an inventor's spirit. You're always thinking up new ideas and concepts.

Are You Mind, Body, or Spirit?

You Are Mind
If you dream it, then you can do it. You are very mentally sharp and strong.
You enjoy challenging yourself both at work and with studies. You love mastering difficult tasks.

You thrive in new environments, even stressful ones. You are able to study everything objectively.
You have a upbeat attitude, and won't be deterred easily. You are open minded and optimistic about the future.
Are You Mind, Body, or Spirit?

Yes, everyone else is in bed, where am I??? Playing around on the computer because I have become what me ole man has affectionately dubbed a night owl. Although, I could be a vampire, I have been known to hiss at the sun from time to time.

What's Your Celtic Animal?

Your Animal is the Raven
You have an incredible work ethic and are very tenacious. You like to be productive.
No matter what you want in life, you're committed to making it happen.

You are infinitely patent. You are philosophical about life and feel that good things will eventually come.
You believe it's important to carve out your own space in the world. You will change your life until you feel comfortable.
What's Your Celtic Animal?

Surprising that my celtic animal is a raven. Pretty cool, though, as it seems to sum me up during this portion of my life where everything is up in the air and hinges on my education changing things around.

01. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Hmm...I opened my mouth and spoke my mind for the first time in my life. For me, that is an amazing achievement.

02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't recall making a New Year's resolution,  feeling depressed kept me from thinking about that.

03. Did someone close to you give birth?
Ummm....no, thankfully (actually) because the only one close to me that could have given birth got her tubes tied--she has 4 already, so I guess that is plenty for her.

04. Did anyone close to you die?
No, again thankfully, I've had enough of death. Experiencing one death after another in my late teens and early 20's kinda does it for wanting to experience that fact of life anytime soon or in the near future--although it is an inevitable event.

05. What countries did you visit?
Last country I visited was Canada, back in 2006.

06. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A job that will utilize my associates degree while working on my bachelors.

07. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
2008 was a viral roller coaster, no date stands out that will permanently be forever etched in my memory.

I have got to say my lovely laptop, the one I just got this month--yeah baby!!!

Being snarky and depressed.

Trying to enjoy family time--being sick for what feels like the umpteenth time this year kinds puts a damper on the festive spirit. Stress will do that to a person, make them more susceptible to getting sick :p

Remain open to all new experiences, but not too open to get hurt.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I don't have a song--I have a poem (Gobblin Market by Christina Rossettie and my favorite line is this:
"We must not look at goblin men
We must not buy their fruits:
Who knows upon what soil they fed,
Their hungry thirsty roots"

Let's say you're a hobgoblin for 24 hours. What sort of havoc would you wreak? Or: If a baby of unknown origins suddenly fell into your care, would you keep it? What would you name it?
This depends on HOW the baby suddenly fell into my care. Was the baby dropped on my doorstep? Was it given to me by legal ways to care for? If the baby was dropped on my doorstep then I would have to go to Child Services and report that a child was abandoned and then offer to care for it until they could find a proper home or offer to legally adopt it. If the baby was place in my care legally, I would care for it as if it were my own.

If the baby had no name and it was a girl- Tabitha...boy- Zachary.

I know I just posted, but (instead of working on that stupid homework, like I SHOULD be doing) I'm bored, and antsy, and depressed, and anxious...and blah blah blah...So, in truth, can't concentrate long enough to get the first academic sentence down.

Random ramblings:
Mela had a rowboat, the rowboat had a bell, Mela went to Heaven, but the rowboat went to Hell.

The universe is permeated with the odor of turpentine!!!!

Oh, so it's gonna blow up, but (since it's Swiss made) it keeps perfect time.

The dog ate my homework.

Who am I
yin/yang
abifrey10

Sitting in this "box" wishing my life away. Things just aren't what they seem on the outside. Looking inward there is a never ending blackhole. On the outside there appears to be someone with a strong head and a willful heart. Inward there is nothing but a blackhole of despair. Catch me off guard and you'll see me staring off into space. What must go through your mind when you see that. Ask me if I am alright and I'll lie saying everything is fine while looking directly at you because I can be very convincing. Only those who are extremely close to me will know I am lying, they can see right through me, but those people are very few and not around much. For I spend most of my time alone. Sometimes I prefer it that way, being alone. That way noone can see me when I end up attempting something stupid and not succeed. And I don't have to "put on face" and pretend everything is just "hunky-dory" when it really isn't. Then other times I wish I had a friend to lean on, to talk to, laugh with, to shout "what next" when something goes wrong (which seems often nowadays). Sometimes I feel like I am reaching out, but there is nothing there to grab hold to. Just an empty vacuum of infinite space staring back at me, mocking me, laughing at me. Maybe if I pressed a button or flipped a switch I could be transported elsewhere, somewhere friends are and always will be. The trouble is finding the right "coordinates" for such a place.

My Wish for You in 2008

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for  $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ............

May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!

Bah!
